What does "not paired" mean?

Displays in Taplist.io can be in one of two states:

• Not paired: When you first create a display in the dashboard, it is created in the "not paired" state. This means you have not yet linked a TV device to this display.
• Paired: Once you link a display to a TV device, it becomes paired.

To pair a display, visit our Hardware Guide to set up a compatible hardware device. Once the app is running on the device, onscreen instructions will prompt you to visit https://taplist.io/activate and enter a pairing code.
