Taplist.io App Closing to Home Screen on Amazon Fire TV & Connectivity Issues

If you are using Taplist.io on an Amazon Fire TV and are having issues with the Taplist app closing and returning the home screen here are a few settings to change that may help the problem.

1. Confirm Amazon’s “Featured Content” is disabled, and if not, try disabling it.  If the app crashes Taplist should automatically re-launch within 2 minutes - these features could interfere with that.
   1. Go to: Settings → Preferences → Featured Content
   2. Disable the “Allow Video Autoplay” and “Allow Audio Autoplay” options

2. Disable Amazon’s “Still Watching” feature
   1. Go to: Settings → Preferences → Data Usage Monitoring
   2. Disable “Still Watching”

3. Disable Amazon's "Data Usage Monitoring" feature
   1. Go to: Settings → Preferences → Data Usage Monitoring
   2. Disable "Data Usage Monitoring"

4. Turn on the “Do Not Interrupt” feature - this will disable onscreen notifications from other apps and Amazon while you are using an app.
   1. Go to: Settings → Notifications → Then press the menu button for options and select “Settings”
   2. Turn on “Do Not Interrupt”
