Taplist.io App Closing to Home Screen on Roku

If you are using Taplist.io on Roku and are having issues with the Taplist app closing and returning the home screen here are a few settings to change that may help the problem. The most common case for this issue is item #1 - bandwidth saver - this feature will cause most Roku devices to close the Taplist.io app to the home screen after 2 hours.


  1. Confirm "bandwidth saver” is disabled.
    1. Go to: Settings → Network → Bandwidth Saver
    2. Set to “Off”

  1. Disable screensaver.
    1. Go to: Settings → Theme → Screensaver start time
    2. Select “Disable screensaver”

  1. Disable auto power savings.
    1. Got to: Settings → System → Power → Auto power savings
    2. Uncheck “After 20 minutes of no interaction”

  1. Hide my offers
    1. Settings → Home screen → My Offers
    2. Select “hide”

If you are running the Taplist.io app on a Roku enabled smart TV and not a standalone Roku stick there may be additional settings depending on the manufacturer in the TVs settings that could be effecting this as well.
