Does Taplist.io support embedding menus in a web page?

One of Taplist.io's most popular features is the ability to embed your menu on any web page. When you update your menu in the dashboard, your embedded menu will be instantly updates as well, just like your Taplist.io TVs.

How do I embed my menu?

It's easy!

1. Visit the Taplist.io dashboard, then press Web Page in the left nav.
2. Click on the Embed section.
3. Copy one of the snippets and paste into your web site.

What is the difference between the "script" snippet and the "iframe" snippet?

We support two different methods for embedding your menu:

1. Iframe snippet—simplest method.
2. Script snippet—most customizable.

When using the iframe snippet, your web menu will look exactly like your taplist.io web page (taplist.io/<name>). Using the dashboard, you can customize this page, including various font styles, and so on.

Conversely, using the script snippet, you can achieve a far more customizable look on your web page, as long as you or your web developer is handy with CSS. You can also use the script snippet without any customization, which many of our customers do!

Overall, we recommend the script snippet unless you prefer the simplicity of the iframe method or cannot use script tags for some reason.
